Join a supportive team as an Engineered Wood Product Designer, focusing on residential floor system design. Leverage your technical skills and creativity to deliver accurate designs for various housing projects.

In this key role, you will design floor systems for both single-family and multi-family homes. This position requires interpreting architectural blueprints while employing your knowledge of construction practices and building codes. Collaborate with the Sales team to deliver accurate designs and provide technical support, ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the process.

Key Responsibilities:
• Design floor systems and TJI layouts for residential housing
• Interpret architectural blueprints and structural drawings




• Prepare detailed shop drawings and assist Sales team
• Create accurate product orders based on designs
• Maintain job lists and update drawings as needed

Requirements:
• Minimum 1 year interpreting blueprints or structural drawings
• 1 year experience in AutoCAD or floor design software
• Background in design or engineering technology
• Strong math skills and attention to detail
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and communication
