This entry-level management position assists the Assistant Director at the Maxwell Meighen Centre, overseeing day-to-day shelter operations from 4:00 pm to 12:00 am, Monday to Friday. Responsibilities include enhancing customer service, managing staff schedules, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. You will be integral in supporting Level 1 clients, ensuring they have access to resources and referrals.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with daily shelter management under the Assistant Director
• Supervise staff and manage their schedules




• Ensure proper client intake and triage processes
• Review and document incident reports and follow-ups
• Provide oversight on client programs and activities

Requirements:
• Social Services Worker Diploma or 5 years related experience
• 1-2 years of supervisory experience
• Understanding of shelter standards and regulations
• Certification in First Aid/CPR and Non-Violent Crisis Intervention
• Criminal Record Check clearance required
