This role reports to the Electrical Superintendent, focusing on the reliability and maintenance of electrical systems at coal processing facilities. Responsibilities include improving plant performance and ensuring safe operation of critical assets. The ideal candidate will utilize robust engineering judgment to tackle technical challenges collaboratively with diverse teams.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide engineering support for electrical infrastructure
• Develop preventative and predictive maintenance strategies
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes and standards




• Lead reliability initiatives for increased equipment availability
• Investigate equipment failures using root cause analysis
Requirements:
• Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering
• Minimum three years in an Electrical Engineering role
• Experience in heavy industry required
• Registration with EGBC preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD
