AWC Water Solutions is on the lookout for an Intermediate Mechanical Designer to enhance the Design/CADD department. In this role, you’ll lead the creation of mechanical designs and collaborate across departments and with external vendors. Continued education and mentoring junior staff are also key components as you strive for engineering excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
• Create 3D models and fabrication drawings for projects
• Lead design efforts and guide project teams
• Work closely with internal and external partners
• Assist with cost estimates for project proposals
• Support quality management system improvements

Requirements:
• Relevant degree or diploma in technical disciplines
• 5-10 years in mechanical design of packages
• Experience with Autodesk Inventor 3-D and AutoCAD
• Registration as a CET in BC or Alberta is a plus
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
