EPCOR is seeking a full time Lead Transmission Engineer in Edmonton, Alberta. This role focuses on overseeing the City of Edmonton Transmission Reinforcement project across its lifecycle.

As a Senior Transmission & Substation Engineer, you will take charge of technical aspects, ensuring all engineering disciplines align effectively for project success. Key responsibilities include planning and monitoring engineering scope, managing external consultants, and integrating engineering solutions that ensure safety and compliance throughout the project. Your expertise will contribute to reliable electrical infrastructure and effective engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and integrate engineering disciplines in project execution
• Define project scope, deliverables, and schedules




• Review and accept all engineering design deliverables
• Identify and mitigate engineering risks during execution
• Ensure designs comply with regulations and standards

Requirements:
• P.Eng with B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering
• 10+ years of experience in transmission & distribution
• In-depth knowledge of Utility Standards
• Proficiency in MS Office and project management tools
• Strong analytical and interpersonal skills

This role requires leadership and comprehensive technical knowledge to ensure successful transmission and substation projects at EPCOR.
