This role seeks a certified teacher engaged in nurturing Indigenous youth within a small classroom setting. Candidates must have B. Ed. certification alongside experience in trauma-informed practices and engagement beyond the classroom. Participate meaningfully in an inquiry-based learning atmosphere while respecting the Tlingit way of life.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement Indigenized Curriculum strategies
• Encourage outdoor learning through various activities
• Build trusting relationships with students and the community




• Analyze student assessments for tailored instruction
• Support extracurricular activities to enhance student engagement

Requirements:
• Bachelor of Education certification mandatory
• Prior experience with First Nations curriculum preferred
• Knowledge of Tlingit culture highly valued
• Ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders
• Focus on differentiated instructional strategies
