You'll collaborate with Branch Managers and supervisors to uphold OH&S; standards and exceed client expectations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for safety and robust mentoring abilities, contributing to a safety culture crucial for operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct workplace investigations and safety audits
• Ensure compliance through in-house database monitoring
• Liaise with safety regulatory authorities
• Train staff in best safety practices
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives for safety culture
Requirements:
• 3–5 years’ experience in heavy construction
• OH&S; Certificate or relevant safety designation
• Knowledge of provincial safety legislation
• Clean driver’s license for company vehicle usage
• Strong communication and computer skills
