Inspect roof structures to determine the best course of action. Provide customers with an estimate of labor and materials for roof repair or construction. Measure and cut material to fit snugly around vents, gutters, chimneys, and walls. Smooth rough areas of the roof to prepare the surface for new shingles and waterproofing. Replace damaged or rotten parts of the roof. Install a vapor barrier and insulation to create a more waterproof seal. Safely install ladders, scaffolding, and hoists as needed. Keep the manager informed of work progress and report any work-related issues. Safely transport all necessary equipment and materials to the construction site.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Valid driver’s license.
- State roofer license.
- Experience in roofing or construction in general.
- Working knowledge of different roofing systems.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and tools.
- Ability to use powered hand tools.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Outstanding customer service skills.
Advantages
- Full-time permanent; 40 hours per week; day, evening, shift, overtime, morning.
- Salary: $24.33 - $31.50 per hour.
- Required years of experience: 1 year to 2 years.
