Harbinger is seeking a skilled Property Accountant to join a reputable real estate firm in Midtown Toronto. Utilize your knowledge of Yardi and accounting principles to manage property finances effectively.

In this onsite role, you will be responsible for the full accounting cycle, including financial reporting and tenant management for commercial and residential properties. A solid understanding of rent rolls, lease administration, and financial analysis will be key to your success.

Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee full-cycle accounting for property portfolios
• Maintain general ledger and prepare journal entries
• Conduct month-end and year-end closing activities
• Reconcile tenant accounts and identify discrepancies
• Collaborate with property managers on financial inquiries

Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
• 3-5 years of relevant property accounting experience
• Proficient in Yardi Voyager software
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
• CPA or progress towards CPA is advantageous
