WSP is seeking an Intermediate Electrical Engineer to support both new construction and brownfield projects. You will be pivotal in designing systems that ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations within the industrial sector. Your expertise in electrical design will influence projects from their conceptual phase to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design electrical power distribution and control systems
• Conduct power system studies using ETAP or EasyPower
• Prepare specifications for electrical equipment and systems
• Oversee engineering calculations and design accuracy checks
• Mentor junior engineering staff to foster talent
Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years in electrical engineering for heavy industries
• Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) certification in BC
• Strong knowledge of CSA, ANSI, and IEEE standards
• Experience in hazardous classification environments
• Valid driver’s license for site visits
