This full time position starts on September 1, 2026, and runs until June 30, 2027, including orientation in August. The ideal candidate will develop and deliver IB units while supporting students’ varying educational needs. Utilizing instructional resources effectively is essential to ensure each student’s success and monitor their progress.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and deliver IB MYP Math units
• Monitor student academic growth and personal development
• Communicate progress regularly with students and parents
• Assign and assess class work, homework, and tests
• Manage classroom behavior and establish rules
Requirements:
• Valid BC teaching certificate or in progress
• Bachelor of Education or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of experience with ELL students
• Familiarity with BC Curriculum and IB teaching
• First Aid Level 1 certification or higher
