This role is within the Forensic Transitional Unit serving patients with mental illnesses. Your engagement will involve leadership duties, where you can also apply for the Patient Care Facilitator role. Key Responsibilities:
• Implement specialized care for complex mental health patients
• Engage actively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
• Adapt to charge nurse responsibilities when necessary




• Promote and model Recovery philosophy in patient interactions
• Document patient care effectively to meet health standards

Requirements:
• Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Current CPR – Health Care Provider necessary
• Robust problem-solving and critical thinking capabilities
• Familiarity with psychiatric nursing standards and legislation
• Ability to lead and mentor junior nursing staff
