TRC, Member of WSP, seeks an EMS Modeling Engineer to advance our consulting capabilities. Collaborate on network modeling and SCADA systems, directly impacting energy management solutions.
The EMS Modeling Engineer will play a crucial role in expanding services within the Operational Technology domain at TRC. Responsibilities include managing database entries, performing modeling tasks, and supporting SCADA updates. Your extensive experience with GE eTerra will enhance our operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute EMS modeling using the GE eTerraSource system
• Manage network modeling for transmission areas
• Clean up SCADA systems and validate connections
• Design displays for the Transmission Energy Management Systems
• Process SCADA update requests and adjustments
Requirements:
• Minimum of 5-10 years in GE eTerra/Habitat environments
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field
• Expertise in GE FG Display Builder tools
• Knowledge of SCADA protocols like Modbus and DNP3.0
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
