We are looking for a casual Nurse Practitioner with RN (Extended Class) credentials to join CAMH's Virtual Urgent Care Clinic. This role involves providing care to clients discharged from acute inpatient units and conducting vital health assessments. Your skills in crisis management and collaboration will be key to success in this supportive workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess client health and provide direct care
• Offer consultations to team members and clients
• Manage crisis responses effectively
• Prescribe medications and order diagnostic tests
• Work proactively within an interprofessional team
Requirements:
• Registered as RN(EC) with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Two years’ experience in mental health settings
• Preference for Master’s in Nursing or related field
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency with electronic communication systems
