Position Description The Millwright is a key position of the manufacturing team and will be responsible for, but not limited to the following:
Primary Responsibilities Install, maintain and troubleshoot and repair machinery
Execute preventative maintenance programs and document activities
Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical drive systems
Conducting inspections of all mechanical equipment and tools
Providing preventative maintenance for equipment and machines
Inspecting tools and machines for deficiencies
Collaborating with production staff and operators to proactively reduce downtime
Updating and maintaining maintenance records
Coordinating outside contractor activities
Reading, understanding, and following all safe work practices for machinery and equipment
Understand company safety regulations and relevant occupational health and safety legislation
Reading and interpreting blueprints and mechanical drawings and equipment manuals
Assist supervisors in scheduling work and determining needs for equipment
Source and prepare parts for repair and maintenance tasks
Participation in 5s, Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and other continuous improvement initiatives
Perform other duties as assigned
Additional Job Duties 5-S and cleaning/maintaining of work area cleanliness
Adhere to all company policies,



procedures and health and safety requirements
Any other duties as assigned
Educational Background Required Minimum high school completion
Must have a Millwright Certification/License
Electrical experience is an asset
Technical knowledge
Work Experience Required 1-2 yrs experience assembling small components/hardware installation in a manufacturing environment
Working knowledge of industrial electrical and electronic systems

Physical Demands Of The Job Position involves sitting for long periods of time
Repetitive work
Physically able to meet the demands of the role, including lifting, climbing and working in confined spaces
Lifting and maneuvering of parts weighing approximately 10-30 lbs
