A leading global law firm is seeking an experienced litigation associate (5-10 years call) to join its Edmonton office.
The Opportunity This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-performing litigation team handling a complex and diverse mix of disputes work. The successful candidate will work on sophisticated matters across multiple industries while benefiting from a globally integrated platform.
Practice Focus General commercial litigation
International arbitration
Fraud and asset recovery
Construction, projects, and environmental litigation
Key Responsibilities Manage litigation files independently with minimal supervision
Draft pleadings, briefs, and other litigation materials
Navigate Alberta court processes, filings, and procedures
Develop case strategy and progress files efficiently
Represent clients in mediations, discoveries, and court proceedings
Communicate directly with clients and provide strategic legal advice
Ideal Candidate 5-10 years of commercial litigation experience
Strong familiarity with Alberta court rules and procedures
Proven ability to manage files independently and meet deadlines
Excellent advocacy, drafting, and analytical skills




Strong attention to detail and written communication
Experience working with sophisticated clients across industries is an asset
Member in good standing with the Law Society of Alberta
