Role Description The ACHETEUR AUTOMOBILE / CAR BUYER (Deal Closer) is a full-time, hybrid role based in Saint-Eustache, QC, with some flexibility for work-from-home tasks. In this role, the car buyer evaluates vehicles, reviews condition and documentation, and provides fair purchase offers aligned with company guidelines. The car buyer manages negotiations with sellers, builds trust, and closes transactions efficiently while maintaining a professional, customer-centric approach. Daily responsibilities include coordinating appointments (at home or at the office), inspecting vehicles, confirming ownership and loan or lease details, and ensuring smooth payment and transfer processes. The role also involves updating records in internal systems, collaborating with operations and administrative teams,



and contributing feedback to improve purchasing procedures and customer experience.
Qualifications Strong experience in automotive purchasing, appraisals, or vehicle sales, with proven ability to evaluate vehicle condition and market value.
Solid negotiation and deal-closing skills, with a track record of building rapport and securing agreements that align with company policies.
Customer service skills focused on explicit communication, empathy, and professional conduct during in-person and remote interactions.
Comfort with digital tools and platforms for scheduling, data entry, valuation, and documentation management.
Knowledge of relevant administrative processes, including ownership transfer, loans, lease buyouts, and provincial regulations (e.g., SAAQ procedures).
Ability to work in a hybrid workplace, including visiting clients at home or office and performing follow-up and documentation tasks from home.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and ability to travel locally for appointments.
Fluency in French and proficiency in English, both spoken and written, to communicate with a diverse customer base.
Previous experience in automotive retail, wholesale, remarketing, or related fields is an asset.
High level of integrity, reliability, and attention to detail when handling payments, contracts, and customer information.
