This permanent, full-time role focuses on gathering and producing sports news for multiple platforms. You'll work closely with the Senior Digital Producer, Sports, crafting compelling stories for Le Téléjournal Ottawa-Gatineau and other broadcasts. Your creativity and expertise in video shooting and editing will be essential in bringing the region's sports stories to life.
Key Responsibilities:
• Gather and process sports news from local and national scenes
• Produce video content for digital and broadcast platforms
• Write engaging copy for various audiences
• Collaborate on news programs, including live segments
• Operate various cameras and equipment for high-quality output
Requirements:
• University degree or community college diploma in journalism
• Minimum three years of relevant journalism experience
• Solid reporting and video editing skills
• Strong command of French and valuable English knowledge
• Valid driver’s license and passport for travel
