Core Responsibilities

- Database Engineering & Support:
- Install, configure, and maintain NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Oracle)
- Optimize performance and ensure high availability
- Design schemas and collaborate with dev teams
- Backup, restore, and test data regularly




- Stay current with database trends and best practices

- Operational Duties:

- Workplace management, monitoring, incident handling
- Provide 3rd-level on-call support (rotational)
- After-hours support for projects and scheduled changes

- Project & Governance Work:

- Implement infrastructure solutions with design leads
- Ensure compliance with governance standards (patching, access, monitoring)

- Service Requests:

- Rapid support and consultation for application teams
