Join Aliant Resources as a Cyber Security Compliance Specialist to enhance the City of Toronto’s cyber security posture. This full-time role centers on compliance assessments, risk management, and stakeholder engagement.
You will report to the Manager of Cyber Compliance and assist in evaluating the City's divisions and agencies for cyber vulnerabilities. Your responsibilities will leverage your 6-8 years of experience in both IT and Operational Technology environments. Collaborating with various stakeholders, you will develop and recommend security measures tailored to improve compliance and reduce risks.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and enhance cyber security compliance across city divisions
• Conduct risk evaluations and identify gaps in security posture




• Develop methodologies and processes for compliance improvement
• Document findings and prepare risk treatment plans
• Evaluate security frameworks against industry standards
Requirements:
• Degree/diploma in relevant technical fields
• Minimum 6-8 years of security experience in government sectors
• Strong expertise in IT/OT integration
• Relevant Cyber Certifications preferred
• Excellent skills in MS Office suite, particularly Excel
