This Level 2 Early Childhood Educator role engages children aged 0-12 by implementing YMCA approved curriculum that fosters their social, emotional, and cognitive development. You’ll create a stimulating setting and facilitate activities that promote creativity and social interactions. Additionally, you will observe children’s development, document progress, and communicate effectively with parents to nurture strong relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement YMCA-approved curriculum for child development
• Facilitate engaging activities that inspire creativity




• Observe and document child development and behavior
• Maintain a safe environment per YMCA policies
• Communicate daily with parents for updates
Requirements:
• Experience working with children preferred
• Level 2 Child Care Certification (or in progress)
• Standard First Aid & CPR – C certified
• Police Information Check with Vulnerable Sector Check
• Proficient with tablets and Microsoft Office
