CNC Machinist
Manufacturing/Industrial Sector — Greater Montreal
About the Position Our client, a well‑established manufacturing company, is looking for a CNC machinist to join their production team. You will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC machines to manufacture precision parts that meet technical drawings and specifications.
Responsibilities Read and interpret technical drawings and engineering plans
Program, set up, and operate CNC machines (lathes, milling machines, machining centers)
Make the necessary adjustments to ensure the accuracy of the parts produced
Check the quality of parts using measuring instruments (micrometer, calipers, etc.)
Perform basic equipment maintenance
Comply with current health and safety standards
An asset:
proficiency in Mastercam software for toolpath programming
Profile Desired DEP in machining or equivalent experience
3 to 5 years of experience as a CNC machinist
Positive knowledge of reading mechanical drawings
Knowledge of Mastercam is a significant asset
Attention to detail and rigorous quality control
Autonomy and ability to work in a team
