Overview
Lethbridge Fire and Emergency Services (LFES) iscurrently recruiting up to five (5) Primary Care Paramedics (PCP) to join ourdynamic team. Successful candidates will provide high-quality pre-hospital careand contribute to the overall mission of protecting and serving the citizens ofLethbridge.

PAY RATE: $39.80 per hour

DedicatedEMS Division

Workexclusively as a Paramedic in emergency medical services at yourdesignation of PCP.

Focus onpatient care, clinical excellence, and advancing your skills as aparamedic.

Optionwill exist to remain dedicated to EMS operations for the entirety of yourcareer without fire suppression responsibilities.

IntegratedFire-EMS Division

Transitionfrom the dedicated EMS division and begin fire training to qualify forthe role of Paramedic Firefighter within the LFES integrated Fire and EMSdivision.

Expandyour expertise to include fire suppression, rescue operations, andintegrated emergency response.

Entryinto the Integrated Fire-EMS Division will be based on availablevacancies. Prior to being eligible to fill one of these vacancies,



youwill be required to complete the LFES Fire Academy. Scheduling of theacademy will be at the discretion of LFES Administration based onoperational needs and internal eligibility criteria.

Qualifications & Experience:

ProvincialRegistration: Candidatesmust be registered with the Alberta College of Paramedics as Primary CareParamedic (PCP). Applications without this registration will not be accepted.

PhysicalRequirements: Proofof successful completion of the Functional Abilities Recruitment Evaluation(F.A.R.E) must be submitted prior to being offered a position. Evaluations canbe booked at: https://www.lifemark.ca/alberta-health-services

Driver'slicense: MinimumClass 4 in the province of Alberta.
