Join as a Lead Performance Testing Specialist, focusing on cutting-edge digital health solutions in Ontario. This role integrates JMeter and performance optimization strategies.
In this position, you’ll design load and stress tests, analyze system bottlenecks, and recommend infrastructure improvements in partnership with developers. Your leadership will set best practices for performance testing and drive quality across an innovative correspondence project. You must be onsite one day a week.
Key Responsibilities:
• Scale reusable JMeter frameworks for testing workflows
• Build and execute advanced load testing scenarios
• Diagnose issues related to memory and thread performance
• Work with DevOps on tuning code and infrastructure
• Mentor junior QA engineers and establish best practices
Requirements:
• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science or related field
• 5-7 years of experience in web applications and QA
• Proven skills in JMeter custom plugins and scripting
• Deep understanding of SQL databases and cloud systems
• Strong ability to analyze slow-running queries and backend code
