This is a permanent, full-time role with guaranteed 40 hours per week and great benefits!

Responsibilities

Ensure the health, comfort and safety of our Customers

Ensure daily communication with Leader

Respond to service calls in a timely and effective manner

Size, install, test, adjust and service natural gas and propane equipment ranging from residential furnaces to industrial boilers

Plan, install and service plumbing systems, fixtures, piping equipment and controls - these piping systems may be used to transport water, waste, gases or hot liquids

Troubleshooting and annual service on hydronic boilers





Maintain and repair existing plumbing

Complete all required administration for the position on a tablet

Experience And Educational Requirements

Valid Journeyman Certificate as a Plumber and a Gasfitter (B), Red Seal is an asset

3 years multi-family residential / commercial experience

3 years experience as a commercial boiler technician

3 years of hydronic heating experience

Technical Requirements

Working knowledge of English both verbal and written

Valid Driver’s license required

Familiarity with computer tablets is an asset

Non-Technical Requirements

Strong commitment to providing excellent customer service

Exceptional Leadership skills

Positive attitude

Excellent time-management skills

Ability to work independently (self managed) and with other Associates in a team setting

Ability to learn quickly, adapt to change and be flexible in nature

Have the physical stamina to lift heavy pipes weighing in excess of 25 kilograms

Ability to be on your feet for long periods and sometimes work in cramped positions

Additional Details

Vehicle required

Valid driver's license required

On call and overtime required

Offers of employment will be contingent on satisfactory Security Background Checks, Reference Checks, and Pre-employment Physical Testing where applicable.
