Role Description The Retail Store Manager role at Tile Town Ltd. is a full time, on-site position based in Langley, BC. The Retail Store Manager oversees day-to-day store operations, including staff scheduling, coaching, and performance management, while maintaining a clean, organized, and visually appealing showroom. This role ensures excellent customer service by supporting design consultants and sales staff, resolving customer concerns, and promoting a welcoming and knowledgeable environment. The manager is responsible for inventory control, pricing accuracy, cash handling, and adherence to retail loss prevention procedures. Additional duties include meeting sales targets, implementing promotional activities, monitoring store metrics, and collaborating with leadership to improve processes and overall customer satisfaction.

Strong customer-focused skills,



including Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction.
Effective Communication skills for interacting with customers, team members, and leadership.
Strong understanding of how to drive sales.
Proven Store Management experience, including staff supervision, scheduling, and daily operations.
Knowledge of Retail Loss Prevention practices to protect assets and ensure compliance.
Previous retail or showroom experience, ideally in home improvement, flooring, or design-related environments.
Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a diverse team in a fast-paced setting.
Solid organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
Comfort with basic computer applications and point-of-sale systems.
Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and peak retail periods.
High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in business, retail management, or a related field is an asset.
