As a Youth Mental Health Court Worker, you will provide essential support for adolescents involved in the Youth Justice system. Your role includes conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure effective service delivery. You’ll play a vital part in fostering resilience and inclusion for youth facing challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct criminogenic risk assessments for youth
• Provide brief counselling and family engagement support
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team on cases
• Develop and maintain treatment plans for clients
• Ensure compliance with privacy policies regarding client records
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in Social Work or related field
• Minimum 3 years working with adolescents in youth justice
• Knowledge of mental health diagnosis and treatments
• Registration with the Ontario College of Social Workers
• First Aid/CPR certification with crisis intervention training
