As an Electrical Apprentice reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will play a key role in the Mine Operations Department. Your responsibilities include cable installation, control panel fabrication, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. You'll engage with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to maintain accurate records and support efficient mining operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Install and terminate electrical cables and equipment
• Fabricate and troubleshoot control panels and systems
• Coordinate with Trades personnel for on-site activities
• Conduct compliance checks on maintenance operations
• Participate in job site planning and safety measures
Requirements:
• Completed Level 1 & 2 electrical schooling
• Ability to read electrical prints and schematics
• Positive communication and organizational skills
• Familiarity with lockout/tagout procedures
• Training in First Aid and other certifications
Contribute to safe and efficient operations as an Electrical Apprentice at Agnico Eagle.
