You will manage surgical scheduling using systems like SIMS and communicate with various medical professionals to coordinate procedures. This quick-paced role demands strong typing skills and proficiency in a Windows environment while meeting surgical needs in a busy setting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Slate Emergency OR procedures using SIMS and other applications
• Communicate scheduling updates to surgeons and nurses




• Liaise with Medical Devices Reprocessing for surgical case carts
• Provide reception at the front desk for surgical inquiries
• Order and track blood and blood products during shifts
Requirements:
• Two years as a Unit Clerk in a surgical unit
• Experience with computerized slating systems
• High school education completed
• Successful completion of Unit Clerk training program
• Proficient typing skills at 30 wpm
