As a Safety Coordinator, you will report directly to the Risk & Assurance Supervisor. Your expertise is essential for advising personnel, implementing safety programs, and conducting incident investigations. This role focuses on reducing workplace injuries and enhancing the safety culture across all mining operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop daily incident and injury reports
• Coordinate and manage the Weekly Safety Report
• Support incident investigations across departments
• Create monthly Crew Presentations for safety meetings
• Conduct targeted spot audits and field checks
Requirements:
• University Degree or College Diploma required
• 2-5 years of mining experience necessary
• Knowledge of mining laws and regulations
• Robust communication and computer skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
