We are currently seeking a full-time certified CWB Level 2 Welding Inspector to oversee weld quality control, monitor NDE processes, and ensure strict compliance with CSA, ASME, and TSSA standards throughout our manufacturing operations.
The hours will typically be Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. The successful candidate will be required to work evenings and weekends based on project needs.

Typical Duties Include (but are not limited to): Performing visual inspections on welds as per standard procedures
Tracking quality control records
Working with control code materials
Assisting with the preparation of test plans and weld maps
Monitoring ultrasonic and radiographic inspections
Performing mechanical testing of welds
Monitoring weld parameters during trials
Collecting data for weld procedures to be submitted for approval
Ensuring sign-off and quality documents are accurate and are maintained though out the manufacturing process
Confirming welding is performed to the approved procedures
Issuing non-conformance reports as appropriate
Ensuring NDE is performed in conjunction with established procedures
Key Skill Requirements: Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team
Ability to ensure production follows written procedures and hold points are observed
Excellent problem solving, analytical and troubleshooting skills
Organized and project driven
Solid multi-tasker
Ability to work with tight deadlines and high demands
Ability to take a leadership role where required
Ability to make independent decisions and establish work priorities
Key Experience/Education: CWB Welding Inspector Level 2 certification required
College level education,
or equivalent work / trade experience required
5-7 years’ previous Welding Inspection experience required
Experience with CSA, ASME, TSSA required
Knowledge in welding power sources, stress and distortion, metallurgy, welding equipment, consumables and material specifications considered an asset
Knowledge of PAW, GMAW, GTAW, and Hot Wire Orbital is an asset
Other Welding or NDE certifications considered a strong asset
Field experience is an asset
