As we expand our presence in the Okanagan, we are looking for a driven Inside Sales & Design Representative to join our Kelowna team.
About the role
In this on‑site role, you will be the first point of contact for showroom clients and inbound inquiries, guiding homeowners, renovators, builders, and designers through the cabinetry selection and design process. You’ll combine sales, design, and customer service skills to turn opportunities into completed projects while upholding Kekuli Bay’s reputation for quality and professionalism.
You will also provide estimating and design support (in 2020) to senior sales staff on larger or more complex projects, helping ensure accurate quotes and cohesive design solutions.
This is an excellent fit for a proactive, customer‑focused sales qualified with strong design aptitude and experience in cabinetry, millwork, or building products who thrives in a busy showroom environment.

Key responsibilities
Welcome and engage walk‑in clients in our Kelowna showroom; qualify needs and project scope.
Provide thoughtful guidance on cabinetry solutions, finishes, layouts, and design options.
Lead client consultations from initial discovery through design concepts, product selection, and quotation.
Prepare accurate quotes and proposals and follow up consistently to close opportunities.
Build and maintain strong relationships with homeowners, renovators, builders, and designers.
Collaborate with design, ordering, and installation teams to ensure a smooth customer experience.
Provide estimating and 2020 design support to senior sales staff on complex or larger projects.
Achieve or exceed individual sales targets with a focus on showroom conversion and project closing.
Maintain up‑to‑date product and design knowledge, including materials, trends, and best practices.
Perform site measures as required for projects, while primarily working on‑site in the showroom.
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of sales experience in cabinetry, millwork, or related building products, ideally in a showroom or customer‑facing role.
Proven ability to convert walk‑in traffic and inbound inquiries into closed sales.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills; comfortable guiding clients through design and purchasing decisions.
Experience working in a consultative sales capacity with homeowners, renovators, and builders.
Detail‑oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple client projects at once.
Results‑driven mindset with a focus on hitting sales targets and maintaining high conversion rates.
Proficiency with quoting systems, 2020 design software, and standard business tools is an asset.
