Join the City of Greater Sudbury as an Equipment Operator B in the Linear Infrastructure Services division. This limited role involves operating essential CGS equipment for community projects and may require shift work.

As part of the Roads Operations section, you will operate a variety of equipment, including Tandem Trucks, Sweepers, and Loaders, all while under the direction of a Foreperson. Your duties will encompass transporting materials, maintaining safety standards, and leading a small work crew on specific tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
• Operate and maintain various CGS equipment units
• Load and unload equipment as per requirements
• Transport refuse, equipment, and personnel safely
• Oversee crew members in routine operations
• Ensure adherence to safety manuals and regulations

Requirements:
• Secondary School (Grade XII) Education completion
• Experience operating CGS-related equipment
• Valid Class “DZ” driver’s license required
• Must demonstrate mechanical knowledge
• Solid English communication skills essential
