Join Carewest as a Nursing Educator and shape clinical education strategies. This full-time temporary position emphasizes staff development through leadership and advanced nursing practices.
As part of Carewest's commitment to quality care, you’ll report directly to the Program Director of Quality, Safety & Transformation, engaging in education tailored to adult learning. With a focus on optimal outcomes, your expertise in nursing theory will support clinical staff in evidence-informed decision making and best practices in patient care at our Southport location.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and deliver clinical education sessions
• Collaborate with staff to identify learning needs
• Conduct quality improvement initiatives
• Mentor students and staff on nursing processes
• Engage in interprofessional collaboration for improved care
Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is essential
• At least 3 years clinical experience in relevant fields
• Solid communication and teaching skills required
• Adult education certification is considered an asset
• Valid driver's license for inter-site travel
