s)Investigating accidents, work refusals, and incidents, and implementing prevention, wellness, and intervention progra
msEnsuring health & safety policies, procedures, legislation, and collective agreements are being follow
edDrafting, implementing, and monitoring return to work and modified work progra
msProducing, analyzing, and sharing health & safety and attendance statisti
csProviding advisory support and guidance to managers regarding health, safety, and attendance manageme
ntCoordinating and facilitating training and awareness activiti
esGuiding and supporting the activities of the Joint Health and Safety Committee (JHS

The ideal candidate will ha ve:Fluently bilingual in both French and English (written and spok
en)3-5 years of Health and Safety and/or Disability/Attendance Management experie
nceUniversity Degree in Human Resources,



Industrial Relations, and/or Occupational Health and Saf
etyMust have JHSC Part 1 Certification (CRSP® / PSAC® designation is considered a robust ass
et)Superior working knowledge of Canadian Occupational Health and Safety Regulations and disability/attendance legislat
ionStrong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills, with a strict respect for confidential
ityProficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel (knowledge of Parklane and SAP is an ass
et)Experience working within a school board, educational environment, or unionized public sector setting is a strong as
