As part of the pharmacy team, you will coordinate with the Director of Pharmacy and be responsible for overseeing medication processing systems and inventory control. You will ensure that prescriptions meet legal requirements and that the pharmacy runs efficiently by managing records and communicating with healthcare staff regularly. Your expertise will help safeguard clients' health through effective medication practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Check and fill prescriptions according to legal standards
• Manage and approve inventory requisitions
• Prepare for urgent medication supply needs
• Establish comprehensive record-keeping systems
• Provide drug information to medical personnel
Requirements:
• Licensed and in good standing as a pharmacist in Ontario
• Excellent communication and counseling skills required
• Competent in using Kroll software
• Experience in supporting individuals with disabilities is preferred
• Bilingual applicants are strongly encouraged
