Join Williams Lake Seniors Village as an Experienced Maintenance Worker, where everyday tasks ensure the safety and comfort of our residents. This role covers crucial maintenance and improvement activities on-site.
As part of West Coast Seniors Housing Management, you will report to the General Manager or Maintenance Manager. Your duties will range from conducting inspections to facilitating emergency preparedness, helping to create a nurturing atmosphere for residents and staff alike.
Key Responsibilities:
• Inspect and maintain operational equipment regularly
• Schedule and supervise service work when necessary
• Perform essential repairs across various systems
• Assist in fire safety drills and emergency protocols
• Maintain tidy and safe storage and work areas
Requirements:
• Minimum 1 year of related experience required
• Knowledgeable in plumbing, electrical, and carpentry
• Basic skills in computer use and maintenance software
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs independently
• Must explicit a vulnerable sector Criminal Record Check
