Job Description
You will be part of our Hazel McCallion project LRT, playing a key role in driving its success and contributing to one of Canada’s most exciting infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities
Partner with the Talent Acquisition Manager to support all stages of the recruitment lifecycle, from talent sourcing and candidate coordination to onboarding and new hire integration.
Support and facilitate the interview process by participating in interviews, consolidating interviewer feedback, and maintaining comprehensive recruitment documentation
Lead the function of keeping the company website updated with live job postings
Generate relevant forms to comply with the recruitment process
Coordinate communication between internal and external stakeholders throughout the recruitment process to ensure timely updates and alignment
Participate in working with hiring managers on the development of job descriptions
Coordinate with the broader Human Resources team with onboarding
Communicate with Information Technology department to ensure a smooth onboarding for external candidates and secondments
Coordinate with HR and community benefits teams for any career fairs or outreach
Lead the function of updating the IT team with a forecasting report for upcoming positionsCoordinate with the parent company's Talent Acquisition and Human Resources teams to support recruitment initiatives and ensure alignment with corporate policies and procedures.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or a college diploma in human resources or a related field.
2–3 years of experience in talent acquisition, recruitment coordination, or human resources, with exposure to full-cycle hiring processes
Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
Experience in a construction environment is an asset
Ability to communicate effectively
Strong experience in using Microsoft Suite (MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint and MS Project)
Strong Organization Skills
Experience in reporting and working on Ad‑hoc reports
Position is a recent role. Salary range between $60,000 to $70,000 per annum.
