To grow our U.S. organization, we are seeking an experienced Application Engineer to join our team at our US headquarters in Troy, Michigan .

Your Impact As an Application Engineer , you play a vital role in ensuring customer success and strengthening SensoPart's technical reputation in the U.S. market.
You will:
evaluate customer applications and conduct feasibility studies using SensoPart vision systems and sensor technologies
develop and validate technical solutions for integration into PLC- and robot-controlled environments
support customers during implementation and commissioning
troubleshoot applications both remotely and on-site
deliver technical training and product demonstrations to customers and distributors
build trade show demo systems and support technical marketing initiatives
collaborate closely with our engineering team in Germany on complex technical topics
What You Bring Bachelor’s / Masters's degree in Engineering or related technical field
experience with machine vision systems or optical sensors
extensive experience in factory automation or similar environments (no entry position)
hands-on experience with PLC and/or robot programming
strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
ability to work independently in customer-facing technical situations
clear communication skills and a structured working style
willingness to travel 20-30%
