What you'll be doing
As a Visiting Medical Officer or Staff Specialist in Obstetrics & Gynaecology, you will deliver contemporary, comprehensive obstetric and gynaecological care across inpatient, outpatient, surgical and on‑call settings.
Key Aspects Of The Role Include
Providing high‑quality, evidence‑based obstetric and gynaecological services to optimise patient safety and clinical outcomes
Managing antenatal, intrapartum, postnatal and gynaecological patients across the full scope of the specialty
Participating in the departmental on‑call roster to provide timely specialist support
Supervising, teaching and mentoring junior medical officers, GP Obstetricians and other clinical staff
Working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, patient‑centred care
Actively participating in clinical governance, audit, risk management and quality improvement initiatives
Utilising clinical information systems to support informed clinical decision‑making
