The Pharmacist I is responsible for the provision of safe, effective, and efficient preparation and distribution of pharmaceutical services. The Pharmacist I manages medication therapy and intervenes as required to optimize patient outcomes. This position is covered by the terms and conditions of the HSAA Paramedical Professional/Technical Collective Agreement.

Required Qualifications
Required Qualifications: Graduate of a Pharmacy program or recognized equivalent required. Active license with the Alberta College of Pharmacists (ACP) required. Additional prescribing authorization as a requirement within 18 months of hire required.

Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience working clinically in an urban acute care site. Completion of post skilled PharmD or Residency. Member of Canadian Society of Hospital Pharmacists.
