GEMS is seeking established leaders for its Board of Directors. This role involves high-level governance, fiscal oversight, and operational direction aimed at enriching gender equity in the film and television industry. Candidates from diverse backgrounds are encouraged to bring their expertise in non-profit governance, project management, and other relevant fields to support GEMS positively.

Key Responsibilities:
• Attend monthly 2-hour board meetings via Zoom or on-site
• Contribute to strategic planning and operational reviews




• Maintain responsive email communication for timely decisions
• Engage in committee work to advance organizational goals
• Attend GEMS events as needed for community support

Requirements:
• Established background in governance, policy, or law
• Experience in HR, fundraising, or community initiatives
• Proven project/event management skills
• Commitment of 10-12 hours per month
• Interest in promoting gender equity in media
