Prepare detailed and accuratemechanical estimatesfor industrial, infrastructure, and heavy civil projects.
Analyze drawings, specifications, and tender documents to define project scope, risks, and opportunities.
Develop budgets from preliminary sketches, conceptual designs, and project specifications.
Obtain, review, and evaluate quotations from subcontractors, suppliers, and manufacturers.
Establish and maintain robust relationships with clients, contractors, engineers, and industry partners.
Participate insite visits, pre-tender meetings, and coordination meetings as required.
Identifyvalue engineering opportunities, cost-saving solutions, and risk mitigation strategies.
Prepare bid packages, closing strategies, and supporting documentation for tender submissions.
Assist with post-tender feedback, change orders, and lessons learned.
Maintain and update estimating databases, historical cost data, and software tools.
Provide guidance and support to project teams on estimating procedures and mechanical scope.
What you must have:
Minimum5+ years of experienceas a Mechanical Estimator inindustrial construction Strong knowledge ofmechanical systems, materials, and construction methodsin Canada.
Experience using estimating software, spreadsheets, and cost-tracking tools.
Ability to read and interpretcomplex mechanical drawings and specifications.
Bilingual (French & English) Mandatory Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
Team-oriented, professional, and accountable, with excellent communication skills.
Comfortable working in ahybrid environment, with at least3 days per week in the office.
Salary/Rate Range: $ 130,000.00 - $135,000.00 Thank you for your interest in this opportunity.
