This full time position requires reporting to the Assistant Vice President while managing a team of Mortgage Underwriters. Your leadership will ensure all mortgage applications meet quality standards and service excellence. Establishing relationships with brokers and external partners will be key to service and sales success.

Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise a team focused on mortgage application assessment
- Maintain strong connections with broker partners
- Ensure compliance with lending policies in decision-making
- Coach team members for continuous improvement
- Undertake regular management reporting and team evaluations

Requirements:

- 3-5 years’ experience in mortgage underwriting
- 2+ years in a management capacity
- Preferred education in a relevant field
- Excellent communication and analytical skills
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite
