As an individual contributor supporting Canada and North America within a global network operations team, you will help keep critical infrastructure running while collaborating across technical disciplines to continuously improve operational excellence.

Here''s What You''ll Do: Support the day-to-day operation, maintenance, monitoring, and troubleshooting of Moderna''s enterprise network infrastructure.

Manage Tier 1 and Tier 2 network incidents, service requests, and performance issues, escalating complex problems where appropriate.

Support routing, switching, firewalls, wireless infrastructure, VPNs, WAN circuits, CASB, Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA), and cloud connectivity services.

Perform packet analysis, log reviews, root cause investigations, and troubleshooting for connectivity, latency, routing, firewall, DNS, DHCP, and application access issues.

Support network changes, upgrades, configuration updates, and maintenance activities following established change management processes.

Maintain accurate network documentation, diagrams, operational procedures, troubleshooting guides, and runbooks.

Drive continuous improvement by contributing to the standardization of operational processes, documentation, and tooling.

Monitor network availability, capacity, and performance using observability and monitoring platforms.

Respond rapidly to alerts, identify service-impacting events, and coordinate timely restoration of network services.

Analyze network metrics, recurring issues, and performance trends to proactively improve reliability and user experience.

Partner with monitoring and infrastructure teams to improve alert quality, reduce operational noise, and increase visibility across critical global services.

Participate in incident response for outages, degraded services, and business-critical events.

Support post-incident reviews, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and ongoing problem management activities.

Participate in an on-call rotation supporting business-critical network services outside normal business hours.

Collaborate with Cisco, Palo Alto Networks, Internet Service Providers, managed service providers, and additional third-party vendors to resolve operational issues.

Support vendor escalations, circuit investigations, hardware replacement coordination, and service restoration activities.

Work closely with Service Management and cross-functional stakeholders to support SLA achievement, operational reporting, and coordinated change execution.

Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders throughout incidents, maintenance activities, and service requests.

The position requires proficiency in both French and English due to interactions with teams, partners, and tools located outside Quebec Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, subnetting, VLANs, routing, switching, DNS, DHCP, NAT, VPN, and basic network security concepts.

Hands-on experience supporting enterprise network environments, including routers, switches, firewalls, wireless infrastructure, WAN circuits, and remote access technologies.

Experience troubleshooting network connectivity, latency, routing, firewall policy, and application access issues.

Exposure to CASB, SaaS visibility, cloud application monitoring, or cloud security operations.

Experience reviewing firewall logs, network flow data, security alerts, and access control policy behavior.

Experience working with vendors, managed service providers, carriers, and global support teams.

Scripting or automation experience with Python, Ansible, APIs, or network automation tools is a plus.
