Who are you? You are an experienced Quantity Surveyor with 8 years post-graduate experience looking for the next step in your career.
You are a personable, enthusiastic, and energetic individual motivated to join our specialist Cost Assurance team to look after our continuing growth and make the difference to both our business and our clients.
Job Description You will be a SeniorQSwithin our Infrastructure business working within our Cost Assurance team tosupport clientstoreview andscrutinizeactualincurred costcost incurredand help drive supply chain improvement and efficiency for a range of majorprogramsand projects.
The main purpose of the roleis; Supportourclientand deliver successful Cost Assurancecommissions.
Developand mentorjunior staff and be involved with recruitment to continue togrowthe team.
Support newrevenuegenerationby seekingnewopportunities.
Input into the development of the service line by contributing to bids and business generation.
Work with a diverse team of backgrounds and skillsets, leading and aiding junior members tofacilitatetheir development andgrowth.
Take a lead in the ongoing refinement of internal training and product management in relation to the serviceline.
Analysis and understanding of complex construction contracts.(PDB, NEC3/4,Alliance contracts) Performing testing of data and information using smart techniques and tools such as data visualization and trend / pattern analysis.
Presentation of workprocessand findings to clients including senior executives.
Production of written findings reports that deliver key findings,recommendationsand messages in a succinct and professional manner.
Review outputs intended for circulation to clients and provide feedback to colleagues, where relevant.
Fosteringgood qualityworking relationships with clients and those being reviewed built around trust and professionalism.
Qualifications Degree qualified (or equivalent) in a relevantsubject Knowledge of construction industry technical matters, such as different procurement routes, disallowed cost areas, target price setting, calculation of pain/gainamountsetc.
Procurement Knowledge and experience of different procurement routes like Design and Build,target price,traditional lump sum,alliancing, guaranteedmaximumprice, cost plusetc.
Contract Management
Knowledge and experience indifferent typesof constructioncontracts.
Assessment of accuracy and entitlementto cost.
Data analysis ability to review and draw insights fromlarge quantitiesof data in various formats Power
Bi/Tableau experience preferred.
Report writing communicating complex messages succinctly to maximize impact in writtenformats.
Assessment of accuracy and entitlementto cost.
Change management and forecast control.
Holdsan appropriate professionalbody membership or equivalent(,MRICS,PQS,CIQS,CPA,etc.) Additional Information The base salary range for this full-time role is $95,000 - $145,000 per year.
Ranges are determined by role and level and represent a positive faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary.
This range is a reflection of base salary only, not of a total compensation package.
