Our public sector client is seeking a Senior Enterprise Architect (10+ years) to lead enterprise architecture strategy and governance using TOGAF, Zachman, Zero Trust, and AI frameworks This role supports large-scale enterprise architecture initiatives within a major public sector housing organization serving complex operational and community needs.

The position leads architecture strategy, roadmap development, governance, current state assessments, gap analysis, and high-level solution design across business, information, application, infrastructure, and security domains.

The Enterprise Architect will collaborate with domain architects, infrastructure, application, data, and business teams while supporting Architecture Review Board governance and procurement activities.

The contract supports enterprise-wide modernization, integration, compliance, and AI-driven architecture initiatives.

Contract, Toronto, Hybrid, Working Hours: EST, 2 times a week in office in North York Initial term: 6 months Possible extension: 6 months Maximum total duration: 12 months Must Haves 10+ years in Enterprise Architecture across Business , Information , Application , Infrastructure , and Security domains TOGAF , Zachman , Architecture Review Board , enterprise governance ,

Strike , and Intune Zero Trust , RBAC , ABAC , PIM , PAM , SOAP , REST , SAML , OIDC , SDLC , and Agile University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field Nice to Have TOGAF or equivalent certification ITIL or equivalent certification AZ- Microsoft Azure Fundamentals Certification Public sector architecture assessment experience Experience evaluating generative AI, agentic AI, and CoPilot solutions Responsibilities Perform architecture assessments and gap analysis across business capabilities and technology alignment Lead enterprise architecture strategy and roadmap initiatives Manage Enterprise Risk Registry and Process Governance activities Develop architecture options papers, blueprints, and architecture artifacts Lead Architecture Review Board governance sessions and reporting Support development of policies and standards aligned with industry standards and best practices Provide security architecture input for RFPs, SOWs, procurement activities, and technology evaluations
