Masters Degree Complete ($ - Paid to employees who have completed a masters degree.(Rate effective September 1, 2026) Undergraduate Degree Complete ($ Paid to employees who have completed a four-year honours degree or a three-year pass degree.(Rate effective September 1, 2026) Third Year Complete ($ - Paid to employees who have completed the third year of an undergraduatehonoursdegree.(Rate effective September 1, 2026)



Second Year Complete ($ Paid to employees who have completed the second year of an undergraduate degree.(Rate effective September 1, 2026) First Year Complete ($ Paid to employees who have completed the first year of an undergraduatehonoursdegree.(Rate effective September 1, 2026) Duties Duties and responsibilities will be in accordance with Article 22 of the Collective Agreement.

The marker-grader is expected to mark assignments, term projects, case reports, midterms, progress exams, and/or final exams and must be prepared to provide written feedback to students that will clearly identify the basis of the grade assigned; whether it is due to substantive content, or to written communications, including spelling, punctuation, grammar, and overall structure and organization of the submission.

The marker-grader may be expected to invigilate mid-terms and examinations for this course, or enter grades into databases, at the request of the course instructor.

Qualifications 1.

Must have sound knowledge of any software (such as IntelliJ), which is directly or indirectly used within COSC 1P02 as outlined in the course description within the Brock University Undergraduate calendar and/or course outlines supplied by the instructor. 2.

Must have completed COSC 1P02, COSC 1P03 and COSC 2P03 (or equivalents), and achieved the grade of 75% or higher in all 3.

Excellent at Java 4.

Familiar with Brocks BasicIO packages 5.

Previous successful teaching/marking experience in computer science 6.

Ability to complete assigned tasks in a timely manner 7.

Available during normal office hours for group meetings 8.

High level of interpersonal skills and effective verbal communication skills 9.

Academic integrity and professionalism
