Job Title: Packaging Operator Job Description The Packaging Operator works in a clean, temperature-controlled pharmaceutical manufacturing facility, performing a variety of packaging, inspection, and documentation tasks for medical pill products.

This role requires strong attention to detail, comfort in a fast-paced GMP environment, and the ability to follow SOPs and quality standards while working in full PPE on rotating shifts.

Responsibilities Package bottles of pharmaceutical products into boxes according to customer work orders and production requirements.

Perform quality inspection of boxes and packaged products to ensure they are not damaged, cracked, or otherwise compromised.

Apply labels and tickets to packages accurately and in compliance with GMP and SOP standards.

Complete product sampling off the production line as required and follow sampling procedures.

Load finished packaged products onto carts and prepare them for further handling or shipment.

Weigh packages and verify that weights meet specified requirements and documentation standards.

Essential Skills Previous packaging experience in a production or manufacturing environment.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced GMP environment while maintaining accuracy and quality.

Basic computer skills to complete documentation and work orders throughout the shift.

Ability to read and write in English to understand SOPs, GMP guidelines, and production documentation.

General labor experience, including handling materials and performing repetitive tasks safely.

Experience or comfort with general production processes, including inspection and quality checks.

Capability to perform quality inspection tasks and identify damaged or non-conforming product or packaging.

Willingness and ability to rotate between day, afternoon, and night shifts on a bi-weekly schedule.

Ability to lift up to 20 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods in a production environment.

Comfort with wearing and changing in and out of full PPE and following strict hygiene requirements.
