The Opportunity This is a strong fit for a Millwright who likes the pace and variety of manufacturing maintenance.

The work is not confined to one machine, one type of repair, or one predictable routine.

You will be supporting production equipment, facility-related systems, preventative maintenance work, troubleshooting, rebuilds, repairs, and equipment improvements.

The schedule is continental straight nights, 7:00pm to 7:00am.

Training is completed on day shift, typically Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm, for approximately one month.

Additional training time can be accommodated where needed.

Position Description Inspect, repair, adjust, install, dismantle, and rebuild production and facility equipment Troubleshoot mechanical issues, equipment failures, and recurring performance problems Complete preventative maintenance and corrective repairs through the work order system Identify issues early and help reduce unplanned downtime Use machine tools and maintenance equipment such as lathes, drills, grinders, saws, hand tools, and related shop equipment Support equipment overhauls, installations,



and mechanical improvements Maintain a clean, organized, and safe maintenance work area Work with others across maintenance and production to resolve issues efficiently Take on additional maintenance-related duties as required Experience Relevant industrial maintenance experience At least 5 years of hands-on machinery repair and maintenance experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment Practical experience with mechanical systems, pneumatic systems, and electrical troubleshooting Robust working knowledge of preventative and predictive maintenance practices Experience working with computerized or structured work order systems PLC knowledge, considered an asset Previous experience leading a task, repair, shutdown activity, or small project, considered valuable Qualifications A valid Red Seal Millwright licence Strong troubleshooting skills and sound mechanical judgment The ability to work well under pressure, especially when equipment downtime affects production A reliable, safety-minded, team-oriented approach The ability to follow direction while also taking ownership of assigned work Good communication skills when working with maintenance, production, and leadership A ticketed skilled trades background beyond Millwright, considered an asset Education Red Seal Millwright licence required Related technical or trades training considered an asset
